On the evening of May 20th, at Thai Binh Duong University campus, the Indie music night “Em cứ yêu” (Just Love) attracted the attention of a large audience both inside and outside the university. The event was the final project of the “Event Management” course, entirely organized by the students, from the stage design and concept development to scriptwriting and ticket sales.
In recent years, the Underground-Indie music scene of Vietnam has received special attention from the public, with artists such as Le Cat Trong Ly, Chillies, and Ngot gaining popularity. At the “Em cứ yêu” music night, familiar songs were successfully performed with youthful and passionate voices by students and faculty members of Thai Binh Duong University. Particularly, the song “Rơi” composed by Phan Minh Trieu, a first-year IT student, left a deep impression on the audience.
The “Indie night: Em cứ yêu” event was organized to promote freedom of thought and exploration, honoring the independent and creative values of the students at Thai Binh Duong University. They had the opportunity to develop comprehensive skills necessary for their future careers, such as event organization, time management, communication, and teamwork.
The event left a beautiful impact on the audience, with a chill atmosphere by the lake of the campus, and performances full of emotions, where the love for music and the spirit of freedom blended harmoniously.
