On July 21st, in collaboration with Thai Binh Duong University, the Provincial Youth Union organized the Provincial Finals of the 3rd English Olympics for Students and University Students in Khanh Hoa Province, 2023 – Student Category.

In the Student Category Finals, 8 contestants participated, who were the cream of the crop selected from the preliminary round held on April 17th. In the final round, the contestants delivered English presentations on the topics provided by the organizers and answered questions from the panel of judges.

As a result, the organizing committee scored and awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, and 2 encouragement prizes to the most outstanding contestants:

• First Prize: Nguyen Nhat Khanh Hien – Nguyen Trai High School (Ninh Hoa town)
• Second Prize: Tran Nguyen Anh Dao – Ly Tu Trong High School (Nha Trang city)
• Third Prize: Le Nam Tai – Ly Tu Trong High School (Nha Trang city)
• Encouragement Prizes: Nguyen Le Minh Trang – Ly Tu Trong High School (Nha Trang city)

Especially, apart from receiving certificates, souvenirs, and cash rewards from the organizing committee, the prize-winning contestants will be directly admitted and granted scholarships ranging from 30% to 100% of the tuition fees for one academic year at Thai Binh Duong University if they choose to study at the university.

Furthermore, the organizing committee awarded 2 group prizes to the Nha Trang Youth Union (with the highest percentage of student participation in the competition among localities) and the Ninh Hoa Youth Union (with contestants achieving high results in the provincial finals).

The First Prize winner will represent Khanh Hoa Province in the 5th National English Olympics for Students and University Students, 2023.
