Thai Binh Duong University signed an MOU with the Consulate General of the Philippines, expanding study abroad opportunities for students

On June 5th, Thai Binh Duong University and the Consulate General of the Philippines (based in Ho Chi Minh City) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the aim of strengthening international partnership relations, providing expanded educational and cultural exchange opportunities in the Philippines for students.

The signing ceremony, held at Thai Binh Duong University, was attended by distinguished representatives from various departments: Dr. Pham Quoc Loc, the university’s President, Dr. Nguyen Minh Anh, Director of the International Training Institute, and representatives from faculties, institutes, and centers.

Representing the Consulate General of the Philippines were Ms. Le Thi Phung, Consul General of the Philippines in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Gia Viet Huy, Deputy Consul General, and Mr. Le Nguyen Vu, education cooperation consultant (International HnL Company Limited).

During the event, the two parties showcased their respective institutions, fostering mutual understanding and paving the way for future collaborative endeavors. The primary focus areas of this partnership include:

  1. Facilitating seamless student and faculty exchange programs, promoting research collaboration, and providing continuous educational support between universities and colleges in the Philippines and Vietnam.
  2. Promoting collaboration in coordinating joint research programs, internships, examinations, and effective communication channels for current and graduated students of participating institutions.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Dr. Pham Quoc Loc emphasized the privilege of Thai Binh Duong University to establish this partnership with the Consulate General of the Philippines.
