Vietjet Air Human Resources Director Shares Insights on Global Work Environment with TBD Students

On the afternoon of October 13th, representatives from Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (Vietjet Air) and Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) conducted a talk show titled “Becoming Global Citizens with Vietjet” for students at Thai Binh Duong University (TBD). The event aimed to enhance collaboration in training and recruitment between the two entities.

In attendance from Thai Binh Duong University were Dr. Pham Quoc Loc – President; Dr. Do Thi Mai Doan Thuc – Deputy Dean of the Tourism Department; Dr. Van Huu Quang Nhat – Deputy Dean of the Economics and Management Department, along with faculty members and students.

From Vietjet Air, participants included Mr. Le Doan Quang – Deputy Director of Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA); Mr. Dinh Quoc Long – Human Resources Director, along with recruitment specialists, training experts, flight attendants, and pilots.

During the talk show, “Becoming Global Citizens with Vietjet,” Mr. Dinh Quoc Long, Human Resources Director at Vietjet Air, shared insights about the global work environment. He helped students understand what working in a global setting entails, including its requirements, challenges, and benefits. This information empowered students to outline their development paths, aligning themselves with the trends in the evolving job market.

Mr. Long provided detailed information about Vietjet Air’s work environment, its personnel structure, and the positions available within the company. He emphasized the importance of the collaboration program between the university and the enterprise. This collaboration enables students to gain advantages in employment and certification, allowing them to become professionals in various fields within Vietjet’s aviation sector, such as flight attendants, pilots, operations staff, and ground service personnel.

Prior to this event, Thai Binh Duong University and Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, along with Vietjet Aviation Academy, had several meetings and discussions regarding training plans and students’ internship experiences. Vietjet Air representatives praised the university’s training program, emphasizing its optimal balance between theoretical knowledge and practical experience gained through collaborations with prominent enterprises. This approach equips students with practical skills and familiarizes them with the professional work environment at an early stage.

Both parties exchanged ideas and proposed methods to further enhance cooperation in training and recruitment in the future. Thai Binh Duong University plans to collaborate closely with Vietjet Aviation Academy to design and implement joint aviation-focused training programs. These initiatives aim to provide high-quality human resources for Vietjet and the aviation industry as a whole.
